When we say “care, anywhere” we really mean it. No matter where our field resources are currently active, the HealPros team is nimble enough to travel anywhere in the United States to care for members. With our national footprint, we are experts at reaching people in urban, suburban and rural service areas. Our motto? No member left behind.

  • Our CAPs are specially-trained, non-licensed professionals that travel wherever they are needed – with less than 5% turnover in 2024. This approach allows us to develop our network quickly without exposure to limited resource availability. Clinical engagement is always an option via telemedicine, and our team knows how to connect people to the right providers.

     

    We hire a mix of contractors and full-time employees to perform the CAP role. Regardless of status, we always screen for people who will be a dedicated resource for HealPros 4-5 days per week. We look for compassionate, tech-savvy people who can attend HealPros University in Atlanta and travel to see members. We also screen for people who are bilingual.

  • Our internal and external Engagement Specialists make over 4 million calls to members each year. Engagement Specialists are based the US, active in all time zones and are always available to spend as much time as needed with people. Our detailed training and scripting process means members get the same level of care and connection on the phone as they do in person.

  • HealPros has participated in community health events in 45 states and the US Virgin Islands. Events are attended by our very best CAPs who spend their days building trust and connecting with members in their homes. Our corporate Programs Management team is responsible for coordinating details of events and prepping field resources to meet client goals, and often attends events as well.

  • HealPros’ network of clinical providers and labs are all across the country, so we can help members get the care they need no matter where they are. In addition, we work with a network of board-certified ophthalmologists who operate in all 50 states, with the capacity to do 1 million DRE interpretations every year. Our provider network is dedicated to fast turnarounds, helping you and your members receive results quickly.

HealPros University.

No matter which one of our teams is interacting with members, you can be sure they have been thoroughly prepared for whatever they may face. All our specialized training is housed within HealPros University.

  • CAPs must attend a fully immersive multi-day education session at our headquarters in Atlanta. During these carefully designed courses, CAPs learn both technical skills and how to meet people where they are. CAPs are prepared to be aware of their surroundings and comfortable in any situation, enabling us to help people living in difficult environments. They learn how to reassure and comfort members, increasing the likelihood that needed testing and exams will be completed successfully. They must pass a final evaluation prior to being deployed to members’ homes or communities.

    Our dedication to continuous improvement is on-going. In 2024, we deployed a new camera fleet to our CAPs performing DREs and provided all necessary training and practice to master the most cutting-edge technology.

  • Engagement Specialists are trained with scripts and on-going call audits to ensure their interactions with members reflect our commitment to excellence.

Our commitment to you and your members goes beyond closing gaps – our teams are all trained to look for and document other concerns that members may have. Our unique ability to build trust means that members often feel comfortable telling our CAPs a lot of additional information about problems they are facing.

HealPros’ CAPs are also trained to recognize life-threatening situations and escalate quickly to the appropriate care givers who can help.

HITRUST. HealPros has maintained HITRUST Certification since 2016. We are currently r2 certified - the most comprehensive HITRUST assessment available. This vigorous program verifies our compliance with data security standards and our ability to manage sensitive data. Adhering to this framework means we are compliant with many other standards, including HIPAA.

Compliance. In 2024, HealPros completed 11 compliance audits with no Corrective Actions or OFIs. We received an overall score of 99% on our latest audit. One of our health plan partners shared that our compliance plan can be a model for their other vendors. Their team relies heavily on CMS Chapter 21 for compliance guidelines and expressed gratitude that HealPros follows it so closely. The entire HealPros organization completed our most recent compliance training requirement in less than 30 days. We take our compliance program seriously and have safeguards in place to ensure our entire staff is up-to-date on all policies.

Security Scorecard. One of our clients (A Fortune 500 Top 25 Healthcare Company) shared their scorecard used to rate companies on both their overall security and across 10 major risk factors, including application security, network security, and endpoint security. HealPros was given a security score of 95 out of 100, compared to the healthcare industry average of 83 out of 100.
